as i mentioned on day one that i will be a volunteer during the event,
today im volunteering at BMO kid's breakfast at 6 in the morning.
i was assigned to cook the sausages right beside the table 12.
the breakfast started at 7:30, but i didn't see many people out there
in the line. we had five people in our group to cook sausages, it was pretty
easy for us to handle.basically you just put frozen sausages into the bins to
get them ready to cook. then two other guys was cooking on the grills by
flipping the sausages. after that the, rest of us need to take the bins to
the stations when it was needed. it was not busy till 8:20, tons of people
swarmed into the park, and started to line up in front of grandstand.
not in 15 mins, stations started to request more sausages from our side.
but we already did our best to prepare sausages, and could not feed them
in one time. so, instead of runing out sausages on each table, we only gave
them half of our bin to each side of tables, in order to keep people flow.
the method worked, and after 2 hrs, we finished our cooking, and securities
were atarted to cut the line off. it was well done.

 it's time to be a cowboy, coz you are in cowboy's country.
today is the first day of stampede 2007 in calgary, also this is my first stampede here in canada. i used live in edmonton(oil country??), but now im in calgary, and im so excited to be here in stampede. i will do my best to post as many as i can to deliver the live new from stampede. DAY 1: THE PARADE 游行
Friday July 6 Friday is parade day and the Stampede Parade is a big event: lasting over 2 hours and involving more than 40 floats, dozens of marching bands and some 800 horses. Around 400,000 people watch this spectacle every year—the route winds along 6th and 9th Ave downtown starting at 9 am. The sidewalks are available on a first come basis now it is 4 in the morning, because im far from downtown, so i guess i will go and take ctrain at 5:30.
coz the parade will start around 8:55, so i better get there earlier in the morning, in order to find a good spot. there will be a parade Prelude provides on-street entertainment starting at 7:30 a.m. i will take my dc with me to shot pictures. here is the route map
 6月18日 感触今天有看一些朋友的blog,发现很多人的生活都发生了改变，
变化比较大的就是在van的煜同志，高升manager.
真的很佩服她啊，我们一起来到加拿大的，现在和我的处境
真的是千差万别，就好比一个天一个地。我知道她以前的处境，
不过，她硬是一步一个脚印的闯了过来。现在做到了这样的位置
其实夜挺不容易的。所以先向她致敬。
然后要做的就是自我批评。毕竟她有这么多的艰难都过来了，为什么
我，在这么安逸的条件下都没什么成绩？
这可能也印证了“绝处逢生”这个成语吧。
路有很多，但就看我选哪条路走了 6月16日 work work workWORK WORK WORK
自从5月10号以来，一直在chartwell工作。说说是工作，其实说破了也就是打工。和我在edmonton的兄弟比起来，不能说
相差十万八千里，但是至少有五万四千里。不能不佩服engineering在alberta找工作还是最牛逼得。
至于我，具体也就是做做catering（给开完会的人准备吃饭场地，餐具。。。），也像其他打工的工作一样，重复着机械般的
工作。幸好，在一块工作的大部分中国人还是挺nice的，工作上能帮则帮，工作间大家也就扯南扯北的聊聊。
相比前一段时间来说生活要丰富的多。但是打心底还是希望快点毕业，找一份专业工作。
不过谁不是这样呢，慢慢熬把。
面包和黄油现在就有，想吃更好的法国大餐还需时日。 5月4日 vacation timeit's been a while since i last post.
the school is already over, but i'm still stuck in calgary for some reason.
hopefully i can go home and see my family soon.
